Comprehensive national study commissioned by DSIR, evaluating AI & ML adoption readiness across Indian industries with ₹20L project value
National AI Readiness Assessment
Led a groundbreaking research initiative commissioned by the Department of Scientific Research (DSIR), Ministry of Science and Technology, to investigate the readiness and interest of Indian organizations in adopting emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML). The study emphasizes the transformative potential of these technologies in organizational functions and establishes a comprehensive framework for their adoption.
Using the Technology-Organizations-Environment (TOE) framework and Diffusion of Innovation (DOI) theory, we analyzed critical factors including organizational size, top management support, resources, competitive pressure, and government regulations. The research identified five key categories of AI readiness factors and developed implementation roadmaps for cost-effective, non-disruptive AI integration.
The project's recommendations have been shared with 11 Ministries for implementation, marking a significant milestone in shaping India's AI adoption strategy across public and private sectors.
